It was my first experience of going to India and the debate was something I was looking forward to. I had a wonderful experience exploring a country, which comprised of many different religions and a population exceeding one billion.

But despite this, there seems to be an understanding and a peace among Indians. Personally I will always remember the fascinating and fine architecture of the Mughal reign displayed at the Jami mosque, the Mughal tomb.

I highly praise The Doha Debates’ achievements. It is a fascinating venture which highlights many strong and sensitive issues which should be discussed in public, thus educating and broadening people’s knowledge, taking them out of their comfort zones and allowing them to express their views in a diplomatic matter.
