Emile Hokayem is the Senior Fellow for Regional Security at the International Institute for Strategic Studies based in Bahrain.  Prior to joining the Institute, he was the Political Editor and international affairs columnist of the Abu Dhabi-based newspaper The National. He has testified in front of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Syria and Lebanon and spoken on Gulf affairs in front of various government and non-government audiences.

Kamel Wazne is a political analyst and academic based in Lebanon. He is the founder of the Center of American Strategic Studies in Beirut, a think tank that covers regional issues.  Previously he taught international relations, economics and finance at the City University of New York and  is a frequent commentator for a number of regional publications and international news organisations.
